It is a nice pixel art game, but you should have been disqualified for lowresjam. I see overlapping pixels all over the place.
I haven't disabled "in-between" pixel movement for the sake of a more smooth gameplay. Besides it was an optional condition for the "authentic" challenge.
It is very wobbly. The mouse is stationary (i.e. wherever you are clicking). The screen is moving (i.e. centered on the ship). Yet, the ship follows the mouse. So where you click isn't actually where the ship moves to.
It is fun and generally well constructed. The ball mechanics, sound, and collection are all solid. However, the ball spawning in random places should be tailored to the player's location. I had no trouble at all going through 3 balls, but then the fourth ball spawned on top of me. You can fix that with "If x-center of player is less than half of screen width, spawn a ball greater than x of half screen, otherwise spawn a ball less than x of half screen".
